How long do your rear tyres last
This is my rear tyre, Its pretty shagged, LOL, I know. At that stage it had done 1800 km. Its now just over 2000 km. mainly around the Northern Beaches. I've just received my replacement tyre and it will be fitted in the next few days. This tyre had sensational grip when it was fresh. Front tyre was mounted new at the same time but still has plenty of meat left on it.

End of Quarry Road, Hornsby - Parking is well signposted, directing cars to park at the END of the road. If this is full, park in the Dural Street carpark.
Monthly trail maintenance of OMV.
The regular track maintenance day is happening on Saturday the 6th July @ 2pm. (always 1st Sat of the month)

North side focus
The work will be spread out on across a number of sites from quarry road to the end of Turkey Royale, including:
• Corner repair at a number of points
• Trail surface repair – erosion and exposed tree roots
• Work on Romsey Street
• Restoring out slope at beginning of Turkey Royale/end Cranberry sauce
• Erosion and drainage at end of Turkey Royale

The rear rim is buckled, I've taken it to a couple of different shops and no-one seems to be able to get it completely true. You may have better luck with your local LBS.
The general condition of the wheels is good, there are a few scratches to be expected with second hand wheels but nothing major.
I'll include the discs and QR axles. The rotors are 180mm front and 160mm rear Magura Storm.
The freehub is in good working order.
MTB gloves
Can anyone recommend good quality MTB gloves? I find the stitching on most brands comes apart within 6-9 months of constant use (but maybe that's par for the course?)

BI-LO Lisarow car park
Easy pace 40km ride.
From start point ride via roads, fire trails, bike paths and single track through Katandra, Rumbalara and Erina to top of Kincumber Mountain. Return to Lisarow via East Gosford and Gosford.
Couple of hills to climb on this one.

For Sale: Ayup V4 Adventure lights. This is the Adventure set, so 2 sets of lights,
red ones for the helmet are a spotlight beam, and a black set for the handlebars have a wider spread. Set comes with 3 batteries, a 6 hour and 2 3 hour.
Also included: helmet fittings, headband for general use or running, multi battery charger, which can also be charged from 12v socket, and the nice orange travel/storage case.
Set is only 18 months old and use the brighter leds.
New this kit would cost $500 as the set doesn't come with a second 3 hour battery anymore.

Old Man's Valley update for 02 Jun
Well, it was outstanding yesterday.
Today it's copping a belting by heavy rain. Will need several days to a week of sunshine to dry out. Let's hope this downpour doesn't hang around too long.

Manly Dam update for 02 Jun
At the risk of stating the bleedin' obvious... it's belting down. Likely to need a week of sunshine and wind to dry out after this.
Time to go and do the vacuuming
