For Sale: Fizik Tundra 2 Kium Bike Saddle
Fizik Tundra 2 Kium Bike Saddle (suit road or mountain bike)
I just went and bought a new Giant Anthem and this saddle came with the bike. It is an excellent seat for a guy but since I am a girl I am selling it. I have replaced it with a nice soft women specific saddle so I would like to sell this one. The saddle has never been used.
If you look online it retails for around $160 but I will sell it for $80 because that is how much my replacement saddle cost.
Give me a call. I live in Narrabeen.

SMH: One metre between life and death
Richard Pollett, a 25-year-old musician, was crushed under the wheels of a cement truck while cycling in Brisbane in September 2011.
The virtuoso violinist was due to perform with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra when he was killed as the truck was overtaking him on Moggill Road, a two-lane conduit through the suburb of Kenmore.
A simple touch of the brakes would likely have spared a brilliant young man’s life.
The subsequent court case has prompted renewed calls for laws to protect cyclists on Australia’s roads.

Stage 6 - night race
Stage 6 took place over the same course as the morning time trial just under lights and with a mass start.
Have to pass out a thanks to Dicko for the Lupine lights which did a fantastic job as a helmet mount, I also had my lights on the bars for extra power.
Stage 5 - Time trial - 22kms
Thursday morning was the day of the time trial. Thankfully I wasn't starting until after 10 which was most welcome after the early start the morning before.
We set off at 30 second intervals, the loop started at the golf course along sandy buggy tracks until we hit singletrack.
Stage 4
Today was the longest stage of the week and meant a very early start. The night before we'd dropped our bikes off for transport to the aboriginal community of Santa Theresa, the start location some 70kms from Alice Springs.
