Any good rides around Camden Head?
Hi, I'll be spending the AustraliaANZAC day long weekend around Camden Head. Should I be taking my MTB along? Can anybody point me to some information on good XC tracks, more on the long side but not too technical?
Cheers,
Volker
Prequel to Andos+Oaks

Just wondering how wet it is.

Wingello State Forest update for 19 Jan
The Red Loop is in great condition. Probably the perfect time to ride there as the water is just keeping the sand firm. No puddles anywhere. A few detours around the red loop but all the singletrack is still in play.

Manly Dam update for 19 Jan
Rode here yesterday afternoon. It's definitely rideable, some puddles at Allambie and after the creek.
Singletracks and most of the other part of the trails are dry though.

Andos + Oaks (Wingello is where I'll be heading)
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Meet at Woodford Train Station to catch the train up to Wentworth Falls.
Although the keen can combine this with The Oaks in which case you'll want to meet down at Glenbrook.
Train leaves Glenbrook at 6:53am. Getting some kms in the legs ready for the Mont. This will be a step up from a cruisy Sunday but not flat out race pace. A few stops along the way eg Bedford Ck crossing, top of Bedford Ck climb, top of Oaks to refill water bottles, helipad, Glenbrook bottle shop
