Ourimbah State Forest update for 29 Dec
Rode Ourimbah this morning. Top tracks are good, with only a few wet spots (Downhill track, Rollercoaster, Browns). However, the bottom runs (Graveyard and Lost Forest) should be avoided and given a few more days to dry out.

The most awesome ride you will ever do. From Falls Creek across the top of the country, down the craziest 35km of decent only to go part way back up and down then up and down again!!
This is Yeti country, and I have unfinished business. Who's in???
Victorian trails
I am heading down to melbourne for the next 2 weeks and I was planning to bring my bike. I will be staying around mornington and was hoping someone would be able to point me in the direction of some trails that were reasonably close and preferably single track.
Thanks
tight SRAM powerlink
Has anyone got any advice for undoing a tight powerlink? This is a new link (on a 10x2) on a new chain and bike – first cleaning. So tried to undo as I would my other ones and failed. So far I have tried cleaning it, and gone as far as using a tourniquet (with a lace) to try squeeze it together (the lace broke). All failed.
Manly Dam update for 28 Dec
Almost green after last night's wind. First ride there in at least 6 months. Good to see the usual puddles replaced with rocks & good drainage.

First attempt
Shouldn't be too hard to beat this time.
I'll be back for another run soon.
Camden River out and back
1) Start the clock at the small creek with the timber bridge near the car park.
2) Go right to the end, round the loop to point you back to the carpark.
4) Stop the clock at the small creek with the timber bridge near the car park.
*Distance is as told by my gps. If someone has a more accurate distance, let me know and I'll change it.*
Camden River update for 28 Dec
Trail is in awesome condition.
Top marks to the trail fairies here, especially for now making it possible to cross the creeks without getting off.

Puddles in the usual places,it is drying out with the wind and is slowly getting better. Saw a nice little echidna on the trail.

Lane Cove National Park update for 27 Dec
Rode through from de Burgh's Bridge to bottom of Devlins Ck track today. It's not drying out any time soon. Plenty of puddles and running water, particularly after the hike a bike section, along the Avondale Ck section and upstream from Browns Waterhole bike path. Rode a little way into the "asteroid belt", but it's very eroded and rocky and my back was a bit ginger, so gave up on it. Good news is that the causeway on Devlin's Ck track is complete and the track is now open again. Didn't go past the causeway, but imagine that the upper reaches are still pretty damp.
