Santa Cruz Tallboy vs Yeti SB-95?

If you were going to get your first 29er and narrowed it down to a Santa Cruz Tallboy (Carbon) or Yeti SB-95, what would choose? Both are said to be extremely efficient going up and down, but do you think the Yeti will be more versatile and resilient and worth the wait or would the current Tallboy reviews be enough for you to pull the trigger now?

For Sale: PRICE DROP: Specialized Stumpjumper Comp HT 2007

Below is a preview, click to read the full post
Price:
750.00

I took the tough decision to sell my first proper XC race mountain bike - I bought it new in 2007 and used it only at weekends during the summer months, the bike is in very good condition throughout with only a few cable rubs on the frame, I cleaned the bike after each ride and kept it in a shed. Every component on the bike is still the original it came with.

Specification:

FRAME: M4 alloy hardtail, 18" (medium)
FORK: Fox F90 RL 90mm, air spring, rebound/compression adj w/ lock out
HANDLEBARS: Specialized XC flat
BRAKES: Avid Juicy 5
FRONT DERAILLEUR: Shimano M581 LX

Langkawi International MTB Challenge

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

This race has been in my calendar for ages. I had looked forward to it for months.
We had a big group of friends together and all agreed to go over and have some hard racing and good times.
Myself and Jenny, Gav and Vanina, Garry Millburn and Fiona (who was to be head bottle bitch), Andy Davidson and Naomi Hansen, as well as Kyle Ward, and our other good mate Jodie Willet.

Everything was set for a great trip.
I should have seen the signs inn advance though. First, Garry crashes badly on his Euro road trip, and rules himself out.

Canondale mechanic on the Northern Beaches

I was looking for a good mechanic to service my cannondale and found a local northern beaches business called "Ride in Workshop" in Sydney Rd, Balgowlah. Turns out he used to work for canondale and he did a great job for me servicing my lefty and going through the bike with some good advice.

There were all different brands in the shop and road bikes too.

The guys name is Jordan and I can highly recommend him.

[Mod. moved to shopping as this relates to service recommendation]

Found BBB small pump

On the single track between Terry Hills and the Bahai Temple. Tiny thing so not sure if it's for 7inch rims or if it's a race pump. If you have lost it call Don 0405 801 578. I can leave it at a shop in Terry Hills next week or I live in Drummoyne.
