Love the talk, it really shows a difference in the styles we choose.

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Faulconbridge Point
Meeting Point:

The ride begins proper at the gate on Grose Road. This is about 3.4km from the junction with the highway and 450m from the junction with Jennings Road (bear left here on the way out). Currently (Spring 2010) looks like there is 850m of gravel road to drive to the gate.

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

Anyone care for a lazy Saturday morning roll after watching the opening ceremony? If this ride were any more laid back it would be asleep. Possibly followed by a ride down Chapman pde afterwards. Meet at the gate on Grose rd.

Was very pleased with my efforts, Rode the whole way until I was undone by the Triple Pinch mid way.

Ian's effort inspired me to keep pushing.
Being able to pick your line in the daytime helps a bit too.

Late notice.

I've decided I'll give Beez Nest another crack.

Will start from the End of White Cross. Head out on Shaws Ridge, Up Beez Nest, (will probably give the look out a skip) Springwood Ridge, through the Grotto, (If I'm feeling good) Blue Gum Swamp and then back via Shaws ridge.

Pace will be Slow - Medium

9 flat up Bee's

Had a good crack at Bee's this afternoon. Was wrecked by the top.
9 min flat.
Would have been good to go into the 8 min range, but I knocked almost 40 sec of my PB to get 9 flat so happy with that.
Don't know who that Matt Nauthe guy is with the KOM, but that time is crazy - 7min21sec.

Blue Mountain DH tracks Shuttles?

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hey guys

New to the forum. My friend and I are heading to the blue mountains from Adelaide, for some riding between 23rd and 26th of July and we are staying in Mount Victoria.

While I love both XC and DH, my friend is a DH man only and we have a shuttle driver Smiling.

So if anyone can give me any info on where to start and where to get picked up for the best DH trails the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney have to offer it would be greatly appreciated. We are competent on DH terrain.

If anyone wants to join us you are welcome.

Any info from locals would be greatly appreciated
