Hey, heading up Coffs way on the weekend and tossing up the idea of taking the bike. No doubt there are trails up there, anyone have links to maps or the like

perfect. Little dusty on BJ's, ruts need some work, Bog we have all been talking about is all but dried up. Trails could do with a light sprinkling of rain to keep them tacky.

Had to have a laugh this morning. Came across a guy wearing full body armor, full face helmet long moto trousers and jersey on a big burly DH bike riding down snakes and ladders, talk about bringing a b52 bomber to a knife fight.

Rode on the weekend - was definitely feeling like summer... super warm and the track was dry and dusty, getting a bit loose in places. Just the usual summer conditions tho no major issues. Good work on the new berm after the big descent in the new section - still needs a little more tho I think to channel ppl out at the right spot or maybe that's just me riding off into the bushes!

Mt Royal NP training ride

Did this ride yesterday with a couple of mates, planning on doing a weekender up there setting up camp at the camp grounds and doing a bit more exploring. Trail is mainly dirt forestry roads with some fire trail/double track thrrown in. Heaps of good views down to lake St Clair and west towards Rouchel. Some very big hills to get the legs working, especially if you start at the bottom where we finished. photo is from a ride I did up there 2 years ago, the dam is full now and the grass is very green.

Singleton MTB track update for 19 Sep

Amber/Some Issues

Trees have been felled at various points across track. Best bet to take it easy on your first lap so you know where they are. Should be cleaned up this week hopefully.

Chain sound

For starters I am using rock and roll gold lube. After lubing I usually get about 10k through a ride with no noise then after that I begin to get that sort of unoiled sound. Following instructions on label and tried adding more and less but still get the same problem. Suggestions.

Howdy I rode the singleiton track for the first time on Saturday. It was a lot of fun but I picked the wrong time of the day to do it (afternoon when it was hot). Anyway thanks to the rider who pointed out there were trees down across the track as I turned up. Not sure if it should be updated in the trail status but there were quite a few trees down. One set was 2.8km in to the ride according to my garmin. The other set were within a kilometer of the turn off where is says 4km to home one way 3km to home the other way along the 4km route.
