I have been doing some updates on my 2007 Redline Monocog.
What I have done so far:
FSA MX Headset
Marzocchi TST2 Air QR15 29" fork
80mm Kalloy stem
2010 Elixir Mag CR brakes 185mm (F) and 160mm (R)
Hope Pro2 QR15 front hub
DT Swiss Comp Black Spokes
Gold Ano spoke nipples
Velocity Blunt SL 29" rim
Truvativ Stylo GXP 1.1 cranks, with score of the week, an upgrade to SRAM Black Box Ceramic BB
Surly Cogs
Yet to come:
A rear wheel built up like the front wheel, but with a Hope SS hub.
XTR BMX style clipless pedals.
New tyres, maybe Maxxis Ardents

Track is in excellent condition after last weekends event. Track is nice and firm in the corners and run is smooth.

Awaba State Forest update for 31 Jul
Stunning day at Awaba today.
Can't fault the trail anywhere. Super tacky with absolutely no issues.
My pick of the trails today;
- decent off the top of the red loop
- the new section of the red loop
- sallad bowl

2007 Redline Monocog upgrade
Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 28 Jul
Wet. Started to ride up to gun club road on fernliegh trail but it was to wet turned back and took the road to towers.stated to ride along kennys which was not too bad got to bailies which is just a mess turned back to go down Double barrel, all good, into twisties ok untill the bottom wet and muddy back upto Gun glub rd then for some fun at the tip which was all good that was enough for me I think it all needs a couple more days to dry out.

Has been given the all clear from Dallas at HMBA, who states tracks are drying up & Awaba is now open!

Singleton MTB track update for 23 Jul
Just had an inspection of the track. There were a couple of guys riding round with no mud at all on their bikes. Unofficially, the track is good to go there were no puddles and it looks like it has had hardly any rain on it. Chris and a few others were up there putting out the bunting when I left ready for the race tomorrow.

as with the rest of Newie-very wet!, plus also place will be crawling with Moto's wanking up their rear tyre in the belief they are Chad Reed!!!!
