trail work

I am just wondering how can I get involved with helping out with track work, is there a committee to contact or do you just show up and when do they take place as I am keen to help and meet people in the mtb community.
Cheers Smiling

Awaba State Forest update for 07 Nov

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Didn't race today but watched and spoke to others that had.

Some areas are OK, but other areas, most notably Siberia, The Chute and the back of the Red Loop are very wet.

I've not seen people come back from a lap this wet, so best to stay away. Should drain/dry with a few days sunshine.

The road in is carrying a lot of water and is very slippery. Fortunately there is no sign of erosion or potholes on the road.

Down Hill Round 10 has been moved to 31st October.
Cross Country Round 10 has been moved to 7th November. (There was a clash with the NSW State champs on the 31st).
These will still be raced as the Club Championships and Lake Macquarie Games with prizemoney available to place getters.
