Rode Kennys, S&L, Big Dipper
Quite damp Wed morning 6:30am. Slippery on clay, minor puddles.
A dry and windy day should sort it out, more rain will be bad news.

overnight trips
so im going away to kiwarrak for the weekend. i don't know of any camping grounds however, and how well do the trails ride if they are wet as it is supposed to rain this weekend.
i will also head over here for a day http://www.boac.com.au/ . it says it has mountain biking guides etc. anybody been there and know how good the rides are, and if there is anywhere else close to kiwarrak that i should check out.

Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 12 Apr
Looks really good to me, but you know how dangerous it can be for me to put up a green status! Here's hoping.
Shaft is officially open again but please beware of a huge pile of loose gravel at the top LH switchback, the rest is OK.

Warners Bay Ride.
It has been a while since I have logged on here and I am glad there is now a Warners bay Ride section.
This is my local ride. Just a few minutes from my front door I enter the area from The bottom of EK Ave/Waratah Ave. Take the tunnel under Charlestown bypass and you end up beside Charlestown Gold Course.
The area has a mix of fire trail and single track. It can be rough and rutted in areas with some traffic from 4x4's and motor bikes. Ground varies with sandy gravel, rocky trails and is quite muddy after some rain.

Warners Bay update for 08 Apr
Motorbikes have found some of the single track and so with the recent rain a lot of the tight turns are now just deep ruts full of water and mud. Most of the tracks are OK but soft in places.
