Its still very slipery and muddy in places most tracks are still affected by all water we've had specially the lower tracks, with some bridges washed away. Just as well we are having a working bee this weekend.

99% of the tracks are fine now and all dried up with the exception of a few lower tracks that cross creeks but if you stick to the new race loop marked with green signs 10km you'll have a fast and dry run Smiling

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hey guys Im planning a over night trip to Kiwarrak state forest. Im wondering if there is a camping ground or somewhere to camp there? Also as i am going with only one friend, I was wondering if anyone out there would like to ride with us as we have never been there before and we would like someone to give us the royal tour... so to speak.
We are planning to head there on the 9th of may and stay until the 10th or the 11th weather permitting. If anyone is interested you can email me on [email protected] or text me on 0423-315-305.

Cheers Cain

Music while riding speakers

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hi all Smiling

Just thought I'd ask you mtb'ers if you've come across any decent speakers for riding?

99% of the time I ride on my own and like to listen to music so I have used the Altec Orbital 207 with an mp3 player for about 2 years and its awesome quality and volume but unfortunetly its no longer made and the newer version looks way too big to carry on my handle bars

I prefer speaker to ear plugs so I can hear whats going on, bike, cars ect

any ideas / suggestions

what I use now the 207 link ...
