Cane Creek DBCS with Bronson- the perfect match

So after much research and deliberation between Fox CTD X and the Monarch debonair I went for the Cane Creek DBCS. went for ride on Sunday and still buzzing at how good this shock is...I mean seriously it is night and day compared to the standard Fox CTD boost valve that came with my Bronson.

Racing ralph that wont tear

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hello,
Just after some advice on a Racing ralph for the rear of my 26' Dually.
I use the tyre a lot around Kalamunda but find I keep tearing holes through them.
They tear through the tread not the side wall. I like the RR tyre and hope to keep using them.
I use the tubeless ready EVO type. Has anyone tried the snakeskin version?
Is that any stronger?
Thanks

Rear tyre - kalamunda trails

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

I need a new rear tyre. I have worn out my racing Ralph. Was never really happy with it. I found it slipped a bit much , especially when riding up hills.

Any other suggestions for an AM type rear tyre.a bit more grippy but not too heavy. And what width.

I'm riding a 26" dual suspension. Mainly in the Perth hills.

Thanks.

Ps. I have a nobby nic front. 2.25 wide. Brand new and happy with it.

Trying To Choose a Scott Mountain Bike

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hi everyone,

Could you please help me as to what "Scott Sports" Mountain Bike to get. Following are the criteria I am trying to meet:

PRICE (AUD) (RRP): $2500-$4500
SUSPENSION: Back and front, fully adjustable with the handle-bar adjusters

I will be riding on a mixed terrain, however I think about 60% of the time I will be riding on trails, and the rest on more rough stuff (rocks, jumps, logs, etc.).

If you can give me any advice it would be very much appreciated!!!

Thanks for your time!!!

Australian MTB Market Profile Survey‏

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Dirt Art are conducting a survey to profile the Australian mountain bike market. They are making the results public and free to use, which will be valuable to event and trails advocacy organisations such as PMBC and WAMBA.

From Dirt Art:

The Australian MTB industry is lacking an understanding of the mountain bike community, it's users, their interests, wants and their needs. Dirt Art have decided to take matters into our own hands and develop a national market profile survey.

Fox rp3 leaking

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

I have a fox rp3 rear shock that lost air today once home out with the shock pump low and behold she won't hold air pressure
Changed the shrader valve still no joy but once you get some air in you can hear a leak
So out with the soapy water and the air is leaking around we're the nipple that contains the valve enters the top section of the shock body were you would screw your shock pump on to adjust pressure

So the question is is this nipple a push in with an oring seal or sealant or dose it screw into the body with a oring or sealant

Fox Fork Kashima Coat Repairs

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

So the Goat Farm hoodoo has struck again. Managed to drop the bike on a rocky up hill climb with the result being that I've put a nice little scratch in the Kashima coat. Does anyone know if there's anything that can be done to fix it?
Cheers
