Hi,
I'm pretty new to the area and I'd like someone to ride with. I have a downhill and x-country. I am 15. My mum rides but she can't always go with me.

Tracks are generally in good condition. Lots of small debris after the winds of last week with some bigger branches in places. One tree down on the bottom end of Black and Blue just before it crosses to the main trailhead which needs a chainsaw. Otherwise all good.

Perfect conditions, no mud, slightly damp in the usual spots. Only issue is the front of the notice board has broken off the sign.

Dog Friendly?

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hi All

I am heading up near the Wattagans to do a bit of camping.

I was thinking about doing some mountain biking at Awaba while in the area.

We will have our dog with us and I was wondering if dogs are allowed on the track?

He is well trained and usually runs with me in Sydney.

Cheers guys.

Getting shafted @ Port to Port day 3

I was 4th in masters general classification at the beginning of the day. My aim was to make the most of my local knowledge in Awaba MTB park where I ride & race regularly to get on the masters podium for the day & into the top 3 on GC.
I came out of Awaba in a group with 1st & 3rd in my category & had opened a gap to 2nd & 5th, 6th etc. Before turning the corner at the end of the first long straight of the climb I glanced back & could not see any riders or groups in pursuit, only one or two who had dropped off our group.
