Help: Wonky tyres

I just put on a new pair of tubeless Racing Ralphs 2.25, ridden for about 4 rides (120 km) and notice that the tyres are wonky. Have checked the rims are dead straight, tried putting on tubes which seemed to have straightened it abit but it makes me nervous. Any tips or do I need to replace?

and any potential reasons? are the sidewalls alittle weak causing the buldge?

thanks
K

Photo's at manly Dam...

Hey guys,

I was riding around manly dam on sunday morning at about 9:30 and on the downhill section that runs towards the creek, there was someone who was taking photo's as i went past. It seemed professional as when the photo was taken, about 4 flashes went off in different spots.

Does anyone know what this is about?

The “Joy” Of Climbing A Hill On A Bike

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Great Article: "The “Joy” Of Climbing A Hill On A Bike"

Foolish mortals, we cyclists. Like Icarus, we ascend toward the sun, not so much on wings of wax and feather as on hope and spirit, and we never get there, not even close, though from time to time we stumble into luck and clutch at the soft cotton hem of clouds. Is it our arrogance that makes us climb these hills? Curiosity? Our hunger for strength, dominion, and a ripping downhill?

check your backpack!

in frustration of not being able to find a set of magura brake pads for the enduro, i decided to have a good clean out of all the pockets of my camelback. the one in question is a mule so it has a fair few pockets and compartments within the pockets. within two minutes i'd emptied various zip lock bags and pulled out many sticky gu and powerbar wrappers. low and behold i had a massive amount of folded bank notes and about half a kilo of gold and silver coins. the total....$111.90 BINGO!!! enough to buy a couple of sets of pads and enough change for some refreshing alcoholic beverages!

I ride this with my kids. As I'm only new to this site and the sport, don't know if there's any oppurtunity for some input from the Mountain Biking fraternity, anyway, check it out;

Vandalism: ban all drivers!

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Re the NPWS pathetic response to removal of the "no access" barriers at Oxford Falls I noticed this article (and an editorial) in Today's The Manly Daily and cannot resist the urge to say here what the NPWS would undoubtedly already be advising the Police:

Ban all drivers from all roads in NSW. Now!

Delicious - One for you mate (or any other knowledgable nobmobbers)

I have XTR M970 cranks and need to replace the inner and middle chainring. XTR is too expensive, and I wanted to know what other chainrings I can fit.

Future improvements to Manly Dam?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Forgive me if this has been widely discussed but I couldn't find anything.

I'm somewhat aware of the inability we have when it comes to input regarding to Manly Dam. From the discussions I've read here the rangers at this stage aren't interested in suggestions we've made and are more interested in sustainability and safety for multi-use.

Front Fork - Leaking a bit - Do I need to service it?

After I ride, the right leg of my fork has a bit of black oil on the section above the rubber seal, while the left fork leg is fine. I have had the bike 18 months and never serviced the forks. Do I need a service or is fine to continue riding with. I don't particularly want to spend $100 on new seals and fork service, but if it needs to be done then so be it. Don't want to cause any long term damage.

Grrr puncture, can you patch a side-wall?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Bloody puncture on the way in today... and stupidly i only had 1.5" tubes for my commuter in my backpack.... a problem when I'm riding in my 2.5" tyre giant to work....

Couldn't get any pressure in to seal the bead onto the rims and had to ride gingerly in the rest of the way on a half inflated unsealed wobbly rear tyre... I tell you it really plushes out the bumps though, lol

and to add insult to injury I have a sidewall gash about 1cm...
