Would prefer a small group but anyone not afraid of some serious hard work are more than welcome.
Hope to see you there.

Training ride at wisemans
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Wisemans Ferry - by the East ferry crossing (turn right bottom of the hill). There is a good parking area by the kiosk here.
In prepration for Dirtwirks it is time to do a longer ride. I'm thinking 60 - 70ks depending on how everything goes.
Plan is simple, Go up devines hill, continue along GNR past Claire's bridge until it is time to head back. Go back same way but down Shepherds gully and race back the 8ks of road to the ferry.
This is a training ride so It'll be minimal stops and reasonably decent pace. Heaps of water and food is required. Sometimes there is water to refill at the buddist retreat but I'm not sure one count on it.
Terry Hills - Out there & back again
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Ride out to Towler Bay by some trails less travelled, at a good pace.
Ourimbah night fun
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST THIS RIDE HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED.
Dam lazy bones ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
If I don't post it I won't go
So anyone up for a couple of laps or 3 maybe
Pace will be determined on the day
I've sworn off the 'roids, so pace won't be killer
Usual Bloot pace - smell the roses. That type of thing.
The Oaks - noob ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Glenbrook station carpark.
The work colleagues have got their act together and will finally make an appearance!
This will be casual paced and suitable for less experienced or less fit riders who are wanting to "do the oaks". All are welcome of course. We will pace it by the group consensus and regroup as necessary.
It's approx 30Km of mostly fire trail with an excellent single trail at the end and of course a very very testing hill riding out back to the car park.
We catch the train from Glenbrook (8:23) up to Woodford (8:54)and ride back to the carpark. Train ticket is required so bring a few $$$.
double 40th celebration!!!
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Terrey Hills Tavern
This is the 'dinner only' option! If you want to ride DH/Centre first (twice even) then see Bernd's ride here:
SO!! Both George (Gazza) and Damien are 40 within days of each other which means Nobmob gets to celebrate WITH them!!
The plan at the moment is for dinner/drinks at the Tavern on the Wednesday night after 8pm - the problem is, neither of them can decide whether there will be a ride before hand or not...
SS 69er a Bier and 2 Birthdays
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
meet at the Tavern!!!!
Please park on the Street, so we can become Tavern Clients after the ride.....
This is the 'pre-dinner ride' option! If you only want to drink then see Blondie's 'ride' here:
I would like to do 2 laps of Duck Hole and Centre and then have a Bier after!!!
"double 40th celebration!!!"
Appin session
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Corner Burke & Market St, Appin. There's a small parking area here at the trail head.
I'm just out to have a bit of fun. I've got fitness, but I'm more likely to hit a tree then maintain the trail's centreline. I've never ridden Appin before so if your up for a fun ride with more then a few laughs give me a ring 0410 530 544 and we can go from there.
1600 is not definitive. It may be later. Please call to confirm

V will be in charge of gluten free cake.... Mmmm I like cake.
Anyway see everyone there on Sunday
social, beginners, cross country red hill ride!!!!
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Red Hill Reserve car park, off Lady Penryhn Drive, Beacon Hill. Another option is to ride over here from Oxford Falls.
I know what most of you are thinking but I decided the other day that there must be people out there who haven’t ridden Red Hill because of it’s reputation...You can do a short cross country style loop – out to picnic rock and back the single track which is pretty...
Anyway, at least if I am wrong and no one turns up at least I can go and do the usual rim ride!
Clean up Australia Day @ Oxford Falls
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Corner of Oxford Falls Rd & Morgan Rd. This is not the usual spot... it's at the bottom of the hill past the DH track and Lizard Rock.
I believe you have to register on the Clean Up Australia site for this. Details here:

There will be no stopping for social niceties at all.
The pace will be moderate to fast with the ride timed to end up back at Glenbrook within 3 hours (9.00am) to meet the other ride.

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Coming from Sydney, drive into Queenbeyan, turn left at the roundabout where Red Rooster is and stay on this road for about 11km. Park on the side of the road where the gate is. For better directions try this link CORC: Events: Race Venues.
Lets get down to Canberra for a weekend of exploration and training.
Having not been to Sparrow Hill I'd like to get down for an exploratory ride prior to the Mont and of course log a number of kays training.
Sparrow Hill Saturday
Majura or Stromlo or other Sunday
I'd expect it to be a fairly long days but with breaks here and there for food and water refils. Primarily this is a training ride but I would expect a fair amount of social activity as well.
Time for a change?
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Terry Hills Tavern (Please park on the street)
OK, Time for a varied route.
We start at the Tavern heading to the showground, duck into sandy then into Pauls epiphany trail that runs low coming out behind the showground. Cut through the showground then traverse on the single track back to the Sandy trail head.
Go down on Sandy then we do Neverfail then Larool then road it back to the Tavern for a cleansing Ale!
2.5 hours is my guess with a steady pace.
Not for the beginner or unfit. (Im going as I'm the host)
A good training ride but at a social pace
Menai morning fun
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge.
This is a social ride around what I believe to be some of the best trails in Sydney. There’ll be allot of fast flowing single track, technical descents, some tricky climbs and unfortunately some boring fire trail (but not much I promise).
The pace will be easy to medium, and there will be regular stops to make sure everyone’s together. As mentioned there are some technical descents that novices may find a bit tough, but there’s usually a ride around or there’s always the walking option.
"Team NoBMob Big Test Icicles" training ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

This will be a semi-serious training ride, planning to pack-in around 70km plus hills.
Would prefer a small group but anyone not afraid of some serious hard work are more than welcome.
See you in the morning

Mid week Menai - Night Ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge.
Going to tackle some of Menai's less technical trails for an hour and a half to two hours. I say less technical but beginners may find it a bit tricky as nearly every trail in Menia has either a small drop, jump, rock garden or tricky climb.
The pace will be fairly easy, as most night rides are, and we'll wait for anyone who may fall behind. So there's no chance of individually getting lost.
A good night-light will be needed along with reasonable night-riding skills.
Look forward to seeing you there.
Wet? SS? or a Bier?
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Meet at the TH Tavern, but do NOT park there, but u r welcome to spend a few $ there after!!!!!

Lane Cove - Novice Dusk Ride - CANCELLED
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
South end of Kissing Point Road. Head down the cycleway and meet at the picnic seat near the creek crossing.
Come for a tour of some of the easier riding sections of Lane Cove national park and some of the council controlled areas near it. This is a non technical ride at a slower pace. Look out for any black cats as it will be black Friday!
CANCELLED - Too WET
Time to ride Red Hill by LED (You know you want to!) ;-)
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
The entrance to the Red Hill Reserve car park, off Lady Penryhn Drive, Beacon Hill. .
YES its time for RED HILL by the light of the moon, well at least assisted by 12 volts of LED power.
Bring your armour as this isn't for the newbie’s and ain’t going to be pretty!
We will be doing the extremely technical loop, no down hill.
There will be cursing
There will be blood
There will be heroes
Are you up for it?
Got what it takes?
Oh, and bring a couple of beers for the post ride banter as we wave the ambulance goodbye!
