Sunday morning, not a cloud in the sky a fantastic day for a ride - Liz, Robin and I set out for a leisurely start at 9am (ish!) after splitting up some enduro bars and GUs (something told us sustenance may be required)

Sandy Trail, which was a lot of fun, more slick rocks and undulating trail, probably less sandy than the long trail. (also it's rained this week, so the sand is packed), a bit of Bibbenluke and home along the perimeter trail. Nearly four hours of exploring (ask Liz but the coffee at the end was great. We ran into Celia from CBD cycles - she can sure hop a bike!

Update: Forgot to mention, great chance to exercise those on the trail repair skills - Robin's rear derailleur cable snapped so we had to strip all the bits off the end of the cable until we had enough to go under the bolt. Nearly had a chance to try for the single speed conversion! Oh well - the fix lasted till we got back - without a pair of pliers, we would have been stuffed, so I've got to add one to my toolkit...
