Final Jersey Design
This is the chosen colour scheme for the NoBMoB Jersey. These are proper cycling jerseys of course, not just tees, made by Scody (you've seen their gear in the shops, right?). So, get them while they are hot :)
You know the drill, add a comment with size/quantity if you want one, we'll keep a running total.
Pricing was... erm... around $110 each if we get 25. Naturally more is cheaper. Considering most event jerseys are often over 100 bucks it's not so bad.
Size | XS | S | M | L | XL | XXL |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Chest cm | 87-91 | 92-96 | 97-101 | 102-106 | 107-111 | 112-116 |
Waist cm | 71-76 | 77-81 | 82-86 | 87-91 | 92-96 | 97-101 |

Liam, maybe you will like the feel of lycra the first time you put it on and never look back
Ditty has already experienced lycra... and he seemed to enjoy it...
To sort any confusion, "Nmag 1 x M" is me.
have stopped working weekends, does this mean you can get started ordering the looser fitting freeride style Nobmob jersey you promised?
....clark rubber has a sale on at the moment
i am working all weekend - i just realised i am not sure how he sent them so shall find out...
you want a free ride jersey find a rep as nice as mine and i'll consider it!!
MEE
sort it out with your nice rep after these ones were done!
You don't want me getting involved and ruining that nice relationship you have developed.
i'll ask him - mind you, beware for a loooong wait - we started THESE jerseys in MARCH!!!!
Rather than start the process again, just take the current design and transfer it to a baggy shirt (or a PVC gimp suit for Greg).
I'm sure that will cut a few weeks of the 6 month lead time
says wait until you have ridden in the current ones - i don't think they are skin tight...I said the second bit, not him!
jerseys?
I have 2 Scody "lycra" cycling tops and they are lycra cycling tops a la roadie skin
Maybe your super rep doesn't think you're a super customer?
Taken him out for a beer yet Christine?
DOES do freeride jerseys and is happy to help - however! how many people WANT the i ask?
and, thank you but i am off men, plus i don't ask THEM out and he lives in QLD
if you aren't nicer to me Stuart you will never get the freeride jersey...
I will be nice to you, if you want. Do I get a free jersey out of it??
BTW, a freeride / DH jersey is a great idea. No more clingy lycra. We can look at this soon, I think.
Just so you don't go off in a girly huff and order the first thing thats offered, I thought I should clarify what I mean by loose fitting freeride type jersey.
I didn't mean a super heavy weight long sleeve polyester top with sewn in elbow and shoulder protection, maybe this could be the third option for you to pursue although at the rate our ranks are going we'll run out of downhillers to wear them before you get around to it.
What I meant was something along the lines of this http://www.torpedo7.com.au/products/FXJESN7BS
My fave is last years Oakley one that I'm wearing, the back is mesh. Its nice and loose and has lots of holes, yes I've added some more, that makes it breath really well. Perfect for those hot summer rides.
Will we have them in time for the fling? I'll buy you a beer if we do.
BTW I think instead of the black like the lycra ones, can we change it to the site "burgundy" colour so people'll know who we are at first glance. Gotta help site recognition don't you think?
Come to think of it, why don't you organise a big order and do some lycra knicks and some baggy shorts at the same time, we might get a better discount. Now who's up for some of this action?
even i know what a free ride jersey is! I asked him...he does them
he even suggested knicks as well - maybe you two should chat???
If YOU organise a design (good luck!! bearing in mind we started these jerseys in MARCH ) and the order I will deal with Super Rep - hows that for a deal?
On Monday I willl email him for a quote etc - good lord!
No! they won't be ready before the fling and i need something stronger than a beer to embark on this again!!!
Christine, the way Stuart treats you no wonder you are off men.
Also don't listen to him, I'm was a bit suspicious when he asked for a burgundy mesh top with lots of holes so I googled mesh tops and came up with this http://www.blackrose.co.uk/index.php?br=Fishnet
As you can see not very sun safe.
but I'd rather see Christine in one of those than Stuart.
It was begging for a comment. How could one resist ??
On a positive side I agree with the freestyle idea and just use the design we have.
with a man in Lycra!

Imaged blocked...
Hey Stu, how is that Fox jersey more 'Freeride' than the one we're getting?
"favorites" icon at the top of your web browser, and thats a strecth implying I'm man enough to put Christine off men.
Shaun, first things first, "the one YUO'RE getting".
Trust me mate, me in lycra is not a good look.
Now to answer your question, oh dear where to begin.
Its not lycra, its a looser cut more like a Tshirt than a spandex undergarment. It's NOT lycra, you can get larger sizes for a looser fit that then don't resemble dresses, IT's NOT LYCRA. You won't look like a confused roadie that has lost his way using out of date navman maps, did I mention its not f$%king lycra. You can even walk into a shop post ride with it still on and order your "warm, not hot, double decaffe skim latte with a jug of milk on the side" and the laughs from behind the counter will be for the coffee you've just ordered and not the clothes you are wearing, by the way its not lycra. If you are wearing one of these and drop your wallet, you'll be safe to bend over and pick it up, even on Oxford St. Do ya want me to keep going? You never know mate, put one of these on and you might not be so ashamed of the way you look that you are always in such a hurry to get to the end of the ride and get out of that LYCRA. Now I know your second skin gives you a phsycological advantage, but think of da "respect" ya be getting from the possee when ya show up wearing a "FOX". Enough for now.
Ideally I would have put up a pic of the oakley one I have but sadly it has gone from their website.
Are you referring to Lycra as the registered brand product (commonly called spandex & used in say cycling shorts & competitive swimwear) or are you referring to clothing that simply 'fits' the body as opposed to hanging loose?
The reason I ask is that both shirts (the Fox one on T7 & the NoBMoB jersey) are made from the same material - 100% Polyester. I think most of the Oakley jerseys are as well.
With regards to sizing, then yes, the Scody jerseys (XXL = 112-116cm) are smaller around the chest than say Fox (XXL = 119-127cm) & Oakley (XXL = 127-132cm).
I just want to reaffirm that the jerseys are not like skin suits i.e.
or or
My eyes!!
It seems common knowledge, but in case you don't know - the jerseys are here.
Suspect most will be handed out on the weekend at the Mont, but anyone not going please PM me to arrange collection.
