Lazy Saturday afternoon ride?
Hello all,
I was thinking of taking an easy ride on Saturday afternoon. Possibly at a place that is easy to complete, like Manly Dam or Terrey Hills. Was anyone interested? Start time is negotiable, but I cannot do a morning ride.

That creek section that they filled in the other night when we rode has now been dug back out. The track is completely blocked here and they have cut a small, steep, walking path through the bush across the creek bed for people to get around. Looks like they are in the process of rock armouring the creek crossing, large boulders dumped in the old crossing, don't know why they can't leave nature well enough alone, anyway.
The killer here is that the have used the dozer to get the rocks in so the section of track from the entry near the school, top of the first climb, all the way to the creek crossing is like talcum powder. Wouldn't want to ride this in a group, you'd choke unless you were first. Not just that, it grabs at your back wheel like you wouldn't believe.
Give it a week or two until the have completely stuffed it and then the rain has washed it all away again. I know I shouldn't be so sinical but when you see the damage they have done to the surrounding bush it makes you wonder why they worry about bikes riding on existing trails.
