Good news. Laughing out loud The doctors are happy with progress on my hand fracture - range of movement is excellent. I may not get back full movement in hyperextension of the pinkie, but that's not a major issue. The swelling around the prosthesis (the Ti insert) may not fully go away for 6-12 months, though.

The best bit: I'm allowed to resume road riding in two weeks. Cross country trail riding is OK in four weeks.

the kiddie sized baseball bat in the camel pack
and the pinky be strong enuff to wield said bat
and you'll feel much safer

I used to play a lot of softball and baseball in London and used to ride everywhere with my baseball bat attached to the top tube with reusable cable ties.....

Mind you I did get pulled over by the police a few times. They weren't always convinced it was for recreational purposes . . .
