Age limit? Not that I know of! Smiling Otherwise some of us are in deep trouble. Not me though! Sticking out tongue

If you can ride it and can hack it, there are no restrictions on one's ability to MTB with the best of them. Anyone is welcome to come along and have a bash.

We always look out for the members of the group when riding, without fail.

hands.

In the year and a half or so I've been riding with people on this site I know of only one time that someone got "accidently" left behind and that was because the group split into two, regular quick riders and those after a slower pace and well quickies didn't know they had an extra on board. I should point out just so your mum doesn't flip, this was on a regular trail that all new well and everyone made it home safe and sound.

Generally speaking mate there won't be an issue and someone will always hang around with the slowest rider, particularly if they are new to the group, just to make sure everything is ok. To date there hasn't been any mechanical problems on trail that someone hasn't been able to fix.

All that said, it is up to you to put your hands up for rides that you think you have the fitness and skill level to tackle, and not some technical epic first ride out.

As for contacts, well keep your eye for rides you think you like the look of. If you click on the name of the person that posted it then you should get to their profile which usually has there contact details on it. If it doesn't you can always PM them to swap details or if you feel comfortable stick your details up on the post. A word of advise though, particularly to keep mom happy, always post back if you are going to join a ride so that people know to wait for you, or atleast contact you, if you are running late.

Happy trails and hope to see you out there soon.

Stuart
