Husky Enduro ( 50K)

I dont know about anyone else but i really enjoyed this race (50k) there was a bit of firetrail but there was also no holdups waiting for people either .
For me it was the easiest 50 k so far ....out of three , with a 2:50:11 being an hour and fifteen minutes quicker than Cap Punish a few weeks ago .
There were numerous creek crossings that had iced water in them helping to keep things cool too , and many lakes ..... ok puddles , but they were knee deep . Although one of the 100k guys thought overtaking a bunch of us trying to negotiate a one line creek crossing and using my bike as a brake was a good idea , drop me a line and i will give you the five seconds back that i held you up .
All up a great day and and a big goofy grin crossing the line in a cracking 133 o/a and 55th in Category , not bad considering i am six kg over my fighting weight and as fit as my grandma too

Next race , Three ringed Circus in five weeks . I think i need to up the hill training for this one ???
