Comutting from West Pennant Hills
Have just started comutting from West Pennant Hills to Sydney to get a little more fitness. Would like to
know a safe way to get from Milsons Point to Epping Rd in the afternoon as the ride along the Pacific
Highway is not pleasant at 5pm.

getting home, I tend to go up either Walker st or Miller st in North Sydney and then across to West st and head back to the cycle path along the freeway. An alternative is to take the Pac highway until you get to Herbert street and head down there to the cycle path, this gets you off the Pac highway before Gore Hill.
Walker St has a nice little hill, good for the lungs!

Maybe try the following: The scenic route.
Mckenzie St
Blue St
William St
Mount St
Edward St
Bay Rd
then pretty safe to west st then..
Was able to find the Gore Hill Cycleway which is good, there is a good map on the Bike North website. Will try your way Alex to mix it up a bit, thanks.
Only a short stint on the highway.
