Went out to Rydal today for the first time in about 1 month due to injuries . Came across track extension and tried to ride , dont know if I was riding the hard way or the easy way if there was one . Due to complete lack of fitness and riding time did it really hard and had to walk a lot . Was wondering how much this adds to the distance and can it be joined into one big loop , did enjoy it , had a nice walk .

Hey Mick, yeah it's a bit new I haven't ridden it yet but remember when he trail first went in it was a lot harder until it bedded in.

To make a loop going clock wise do the single track as normal but where you pop out onto the fire rd at the far end go left and ride to the top of the hill then go in left and take a hard left, this will take you down through the diggs and into the new section and along the old moto trail.

follow it around and youll come back up to the top of the hill into the start of snake tails... and hense back to the car park. If that make sense

Really have to come and try this trail one day!
Is there somewhere where we can camp overnight?

there is ample places to Camp. Heaps of forest but np facilities right at the track head. Rydal show ground is at one end of the loop lots of people camp here but I think you are suppose to get permission off Rydal show society. Rydal pub is 500 m down the road. Facilitated camping at lake lyle, 5min down the hill. Also lots of bbs and upper class resorts throughout Rydal and surrounds
