Oh No ! Need a New Hanger for the Fling
Well what do you know, had a bent hanger and tried last weekend at the LBS to get a replacement. They didnt get back to me and I didnt chase them.
And now I have busted it and need a replacement for the Fling.
I'll do the ring around Sydney shops in the morning but I do not have a good feeling. If anyone knows where I can get one please give me a yell.
It is for an Avanti Competitor 2012 29er. I have the Wheels Hanger #120 and it the same dimensions and looks right but not the correct shape to match the frame dropout.

Time to pull out the Dremel and modify it? Or will that not work?
how much is it out? Edit.. wrong type... /edit.
post a picture, someone here may have a spare or a spare bike to borrow it off?
Dremel may be an option in theory....but I dont reckon I will run down to the hardware shop and give it a try at this stage.
This is the old hanger on the left and the #120 on the right
so it looks like the screw holes line up and the threads are correct? if you can confirm that then id bet that you can make it fit.
Doc, you and garyinoz are not having much luck. I just checked my hangers and no luck. I hope you get it sorted.
I have a Dremel.
I'm in Mosman but leaving around 1pm.
Bring the bike ready to instsall the new one and i'll try make it fit.
