Is it possible to ride from Morgan Road all the way through to Wakehurst Parkway? Surely there mut be a way though.

Follow Slippery Dip to the end, then scramble down Gutter Ball and you come out on the Wakehurst parkway at Deep Ck, ready to link up with the Lake track.

I took my chances as when I road last time I kind of remembered that bit of trail but I didn't go down due to having to get back to my car at Morgan Road. Rode down it last night though and it was alot of fun. Although I don't want to imagine what it'd be like fully kitted up in downhill gear. Smiling Those huys are ballsy.

To those that use the downhill around oxford falls. What's the best way back to the top without shuttling?

It takes longer than walking but you can ride up the bottom dirt road, up Nursary Rhymes (one short hike a bike section) to slippery dip and then back to top of Oxy. The first bit of Nursary Rhymes ends at a T junction. Go left unless you want to ride power lines.

Night circuits through Oxy DH and Power Lines using Nursary Rhymes as both an up and down track made a good figure All Mountain loop track to mix things up a bit. Power lines has got more eroded in last 5 years but was always a push up out of the creek. We usually used to ride up dirt road, up Nursary Rhymes, right onto slippery dip, right onto power lines fire trail and onto single track. Push up from the bottom towards Nursary Rhymes. Ride back down where we had pushed. Push back up then continue riding up Nursary Rhymes, left onto fire trail and down Oxy back to the car. Nursary Rhymes is fun in reverse as the hike a bike is fun too. Going up however seemed to link things better.

Nursary Rhymes and power lines also makes long rides connecting with Red Hill more interesting.

Otherwise either ride up the road or with caution push and ride up Oxy. There is an unused track on the walkers far left which meets up with the fire trail that leads to the road gap and berm track which would keep you out of the way. Once you get to the fire trail it's mostly rideable all the way up.

I'd say most people with no shuttle ride Oxy from the top to ladder drop only and then push up or do the bottom section only.

Hi dwboon, welcome to Sydney.

You might want to start a new thread in the general chat section, or post a ride in the calender to get better visibility. There are plenty of friendly types out there.
