Australia Day weekend ride
Hello hello!
I was just wondering if anybody would be interested in longer ride/ day trip on Australia Day weekend? Would love to do a long ride either somewhere we haven't been or somewhere fabulous we don't go often enough! (Maybe with some technical bits) 
Would the ride you suggested in Belangelo qualify for that, Liam? And does anybody know the area around there (apart from picking up backpackers 
)? Or we could spend some more time at Menai, really loved it down there! Any other suggestions?
Either Saturday or Sunday would be my days of choice.

I'm in for Menai or Belangelo, both sound appealing (or wherever)....I can't do Saturday though unless its a local arvo bash. keen!!
menai for me too caro and same for me nate, the sunday's better for me.will be working sat mornings from now on.

I've never ridden Menai so I'm keen if the time suits and if I can get a leave pass.

Good thing is, last time we went it was after a rainy period too and it drained really well, so should be fine. While you are working on your brownie points at home I'll see if I can have a word with the weather gods
hopefully i will be there..if the shock is sorted for my XC bike by then. I'm going nuts without the little bike.
I will be there for Menai.
Does anyone that is coming have a GPS??
I'd be keen for this one too, I might bring a hammer to fix up some of that 'shore before giving it a go! Would be good if we could make it early.

PS - Sorry I didn't stop to say hello in town Liam, I had a badly fixed puncture (old repair kit and not so sticky patches...) and it was touch and go getting home without having to pump up again! See you Sunday hopefully.
It's okay, I understand. It's hard to stop and chat in the middle of traffic!!
