Just caught the end of the article on Media Watch last night.

I don't normally read the DT but the coffee shop I buy coffees at has it so I do flick through and did notice the articles there and was pretty amazed by what they were saying.
Anyway, I realise it's going over the same old same old, but thought it worth a post to see what folk thought.

It was against a background of that kind of Telecrap in late 2009 that I had my incident at Frenchs Forest.
Every time the shock jocks and the Rupert tabloids do this, it stirs people up and makes life considerably more dangerous for cyclists.
Disappointing isn't it, how do people read and believe this sensationalistic garbage? (not sure that's a real word!)
I was quite happy to see the Media Watch program debunk the crap though so at least there will be some informed folk out there.
...the people who read the Telecrap are likely not the typical readership who watch a programme like Media Watch or ABC.
