We had over 60 people turn up for the third Dirt Night, our monthly MTB meet and greet night held in conjunction with Forestville Ferrets Rugby. We had speakers from Avanti Hellfire and Trail care with both St. Ives Cyclery and Avanti+ Narrabeen chipping in with prizes and free basic bike services. Specialized also kicked in prizes and in the end we handed out two major and 2 minor prizes.

The clubhouse was full of bike and buzzing with riders talking all things MTB. We had some great video up from Specialized on the projector and snag sandwiches and snacks catered by the rugby club.

If you missed this one be sure to get to the next because you don't want to miss this. As we head into summer this event will incorporate pre rides as well as Mtb related events in the surrounding trails and outdoor areas.

Dirt Nights is an effort to bring the MTB community together to help share experiences, raise awareness of issues faced by both riders and land owners as well as those providing commercial services to the community. We are a large community and together we have a strong voice and with some good news trickling down from the Premiers office it's an opportune time for us to get together and achieve more for riders.

Bring your unused parts and swap them or trade them and put them to good use!

If you find it difficult to get to Forestville, we hear you and are working towards having an alternate night in a location towards the southern side of Sydney. Keep your eyes and ears out for that but please don't wait for it, the trek over the bridge is worth it!
