G'day All,

Just a short note to introduce myself, since I've been lurking long enough.

Two years ago I did the DW100 on my first bike, a Kona Firemountain, and developed this addiction to all things MTB.
For no reason other than it's there I'm currently (foolishly) training for 'La Ruta de los Conquistadores' in November, and my rides are a Trek roadbike, Rush 3, and a Surley Pugsley. I'm no racer but I train hard and am reasonably fit, and have ridden most of the events on the Sydney calendar. I'm Sydney city based, but I try to get the hell outta here into the countryside as often as possible, so I'm always up for a ride. To this end I'll probably join some of you on the Wiseman's Ferry jaunt, 27 July. Looking forward to meeting you, Alex

Don't forget to mention that it is a single speed Pugsley.

Man that race looks awesome! I take it you won't be on the Pugsley for that one... Eye-wink

There are a few of us that train on the tar as well, if you're looking for mileage... Just drop me a PM if you're interested.

Good luck on that one mate,

$2,000 entry fee looks like good value.

I'm with christine "not another roid boy" Smiling
