I will do that race one day. It is on my list of MTB trails to ride before I die. Not that I plan on coming first. Even if I come last, it will be worth it.

I mean, why even use the trail? Why not just bust it straight down the mountain? It all looks rideable and great fun!!
Oh, I suppose you have to respect the trail if you're in a race. 
But look at all those big bikes puddling down the trail? Wasted I say.
