I thought the Angry Doctor was hard this looks like a good challenge and the next level of hurt to me with 4000m of climbing over 100km best bit its right here in OZ http://www.foxy1000.com/index.php

Quite glad it's too far away to seriously consider. Looks like a monster as a solo or even as a part of a team. Interesting that they have the names of the entrants on the site though, nice touch.

In 2007 its first year 50% of the 100k solo entrants pulled out of the race maybe they are just soft in SA. Its only another 25% more than what we climbed in the Doctor doesnt sound so bad does it?

Damo - that's fighting speak.. Smiling

Who's going to be crazy enough to put their names down for it first?

Its a year away plenty of time to formulate a plan so who knows.

It seems the Angry Doctor is not that hard as far as 100km race's go check this out with over 4000m of climbing http://www.foxy1000.com/

Seem to recall I've seen this before - have we spoken of it here? 4 laps of crazy steep course it seems.

Either way, yes, the Foxy is mental!

17 hours drive each way too, that's some weekend ride. I'm not sure I could be driving that far after 8+ hours of riding hell.

Still I haven't been to that part of Aus yet...... hmmmm....

hehehe Sticking out tongue

Easy to SAY that knowing that I don't think I'll ever bother to go all that way for just a 25km trail... ^_^
