Niiiice, but geeze - this heat will take some getting used to. No wonder we ride early (oh, and the traffic at this time of day completely sucks too!).
Or maybe it was having to chase Junkie for 2 laps. Well - aside from the DH sections, of which he said, "I've forgotten how to ride DH!" 
Completely botched the technical parts lap one but nailed them lap two 
The pace was good, but 2 flats for nh and a broken chain for me meant appalling time overall.
Can't remember last time I broke a chain. I might have never broken one before - can only recall instances where I've fixed chains for other people! It's an almost new HG93 and interestingly the link next to the powerlink broke so was doddle to sort.

I managed the tubeless conversion with a track pump this afternoon. No stops for flats will make for a hard ride next time. I was stuffed last night, glad to hear you were hurting too.
