Anyone know a way of linking up the Dam and Cascades without going along blacktop? Is there a way under Roseville Bridge perhaps?

I believe there is a walking path. Is this the trail they call, 'two creeks'?

Of course that would be illegal riding though. Sad

On the northern side of Middle Harbour creek (west of Roseville Bridge, in Davidson Park) is a scenic (rideable) trail but it ends in a dead end as well (or let's say it would be a 3 k's hike a bike up the hill).

On the south side of MHC is "Two Creeks" trail, but as Rob said it's walkers only and the upper part (close to Eastern Arterial) is now subject to a long steep detour (walk only, climbing lots of steps) due to a recent major rockfall on the path... Sad

It's a long haul from Roseville Bridge to Cascades
I've done it a couple of times but it's more of a nature walk than a trail ride. There's quite a bit of hike-a-bike like Hans says, but it's not 3kms, more a series of sections htat probably add up to 3ksms along the route. Took ~2.5 hrs last time.
It's really nice in there though, but more of a bushwalk.
Might be illegal now, haven't been in there for many months.

Sounds like it's a bit too hard basket and possibly illegal. I was after something nice and fun as a warm up before I start my training ride in the morning. Hike-a-bike is not exactly what I'm after however. Thanks for the feedback guys.

I walked it recently and there are sections that would be pretty challenging even carrying the bike. There were maps on the Oxfam site as it was part of their route.
