Hey all getting a lot of good feed back from the little questionnaire included in the champs entry from, big thanks for taking the time and filling it out

Thought I'd open it up to a bit of discussion and give a bit of feed back on the comments so far.

Looks like on the whole people are pretty happy with the state series as a whole. The main points I'm seeing so far are

1. More shuttle buses.

Appin update for 15 Jun

Green/Open

Went for a ride on the xc loop plus some fire trails on the 14june. Not to much damage from the rain other that the wooden bridge at the first creek crossing at the start, but that's from the mx riders using it I think..

Dirtworks 100 Tire choice

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hey NSW, what tires will suit dirtworks 100. I have Maxxis Aspen, Stans Raven or Racing Ralph. Like fast rolling and some grip!!! What do you recommend to someone who is unfamiliar with NSW, cheers

XCO Series

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Is there or is there not going to be a NSW XCO series or just a championship event? Looks like the calendar is just about full, what with enduros and club xco rounds. Will state series now die forever?

A sad day for mtb, the loss of OBR

Damn despite a positive report and encouraging recommendations BMCC Councillors last night voted to close down the long established trails along side Old Bathurst Rd, Blaxland.

Standing alone in support was Clr Luccetti.

The construction and continued use of "Candy bar", a poorly constructed and thought out trail at Mt Riverview condemned by senior riders since it's creation, was a contributing factor in this decision and those riders responsible need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Just in case some one has a project that might be of interest

* Promote the use of shared bicycle/pedestrian facilities in your community

Might well apply to both Manly dam and OBR???
