a few years back when I was trying to get of my Dads bike which was far too big for me, sideways down a slope, falling over my friends bike where he had conveniently left it, and ripping a chunk of meat out of my ankle about 1cm deep and needing 6 stitches.
The kind of embarassing injury you don't like to reflect on too much... :s

On a more serious note, the last time I was on some form of medication (could have been antibiotics), I was feeling pretty nauseous after 2 beers.
I'll be drinking moderately, nowhere near Flintoff-esque proportions.
I hardly use it anyway. The bash guard could be a good idea. Will have to look into it.
