2005 Enduro still rocks

I like your response ido09s & can really relate to it.

The bike I mainly take out to trails for a few hours riding with with mates (Rather than fast but less technical race events)is a tweaked 2005 Specialized Enduro now worth about $1000.
The only original part is the frame & with 130mm Revelations, XT gearing & old Hope mono 4pot brakes as well as 6 year old Mavic 819/Hope XC wheels it rides great, takes a good thrashing & is up for more.
Ok, at 13kg it's not race light but its not too heavy & running costs are low with the odd cable, drivetrain component or tyre.
