Urgent Help - Magura Marta - SORTED
Hi everyone.
UPDATE - the great guys at Jet Black, in association with the Trek Store at Rouse Hill came to my rescue at the last minute. My wonderful girlfriend drove out to Rouse in the rush hour and picked up 2 x sets of pads with the shop due to close in 1minute.
Thanks to everyone who came with suggestions and generous offers - overwhelming.
I reckon the race might get postponed now due to weather, that would be ironic.

I ordered some brake pads earlier in the week from my LBS and they havent arrived as promised.
I am intending to be racing on Sunday at the Husky, and leaving on Sat morning.
Does anyone have a set of 2009/10 Magura Marta brake pads or know ayone that could help?

I can loan you a set of LX dual control hydraulic brakes, shifters and rear DR. Comes with Fibrax metallic pads @75% meat left plus another new spare set of the same pads. Budget 2 hours to do the swap and setup.

I have 07 Magura Martas and they have serviced and replaced the pads on them a few times - pretty sure they are the same pads as the 09/10s.
Hawkeye - thats exremely generous of you - to offer your whole brakeset - awesome.
Belrose Bikes - I'm sorry you werent on my list, slapped wrist and note to self.
Just to be clear, the 07's are different to the 09/10 version. Trust me. I have some 07/08 pads at home - they dont fit. Magura's websiter confirms this.
As an update - i have some located in Rouse Hill. Jet Black (excellent response - buy their stuff) had 10sets in their warehouse. they cant sell direct so they have committed to getting some to the Trek Bike Store by COB today. Personal delivery.
My girlfriend is in the car currently heading out to Rouse Hill.
Fingers crossed.
As an aside, I just want to say how awesome the response has been. Whether its collasping next to a tracak in a race, breaking a chain on a trail on your own with no chain tool, or needing brake-pads at the last minute - the spirit of mountain bikers to help out is unmatched. This is why I love the sport, and will always try to return the favour.

After all this I'd better go well at Husky. Elite mens field contains English, Flemming, Van Mill, Gordon, Fenner - its gonna be a big ask to make the podium, but I'll go hard regardless.
