Would like to head out there tomorrow morning, so if anyone rides it today then please post a report. The last ones seem to have been from Tuesday, and given the sun, I am hoping it has dried out.

Did it rain yesterday?? Went for a look just at the downhill section that's been mutilated below Southern Cross Way late yesterday after work. Still so wet I was really quite shocked, especially given how dry it's been since Sunday arvo. Ridable, but definately no green light.

BTW, the work that's been done on this section of trail is bizarre. I get that loose rocks in the troughs allows them to stop becoming mini dams after rain, but the rest of it??? Some parts have been bulldozered and had soil placed in them for absolutley no reason whatsoever...

Please tell me that downhill section along the Southern Cross hasnt been graded??

Havent been to the Dam for a while now but that was my favourite DH section of the circuit!

I haven't ridden the dam for over 12 months and it sounds like at this rate I'll take the road bike next time I do Sad

Maybe after dirtworks I'll check it out.

I just came back from a bit of an investigative ride of the Dam, and I must say , Ive never seen it that wet, in really odd places too. Like the single track is all dry, bar the sandstone roll down, the monster puddle before the flat rock is still there, but back further its dry. All the fire road at the top is wet, but the double track from the nineteenth hole to the hydro lab is dry, apart from a bit of mud round near the houses.

I'd be inclined to rate it Red, I guess its borderline though.
