First ride back :D Stoked
Just thought id share the stoke.
Well after a 6 year break and a Knee reconstruction i hit the trails for the first time with my new bike and i am truly STOKED !!!
Went in From cascades track Acron oval (old fave track), initially i thought id just take it easy, being out of it for 6 years and 1 recent knee opp and all. Sadly i spotted the clearing for the start of the technical DH section and just couldn't resist. Mud flying everywhere trees whipping my arms (track needs some love) and one poor red belly just trying to sun bake. Great Ride, no stacks and I only though i was going to dye from exhaustion twice on the way up the fire road. Should of taken pictures but i was busy trying to wipe the grin off my face 
For the old DH guys who know which track im talking about, is there a reason it has gone so untouched?. Has it been closed down or another built in its place?.

Sadly, that piece of trail runs across NPWS managed land and - because it is not fire trail - is not legal for bike riders to use. Substantial fines if you are caught.
There used to be a camera suspended on wires looking up the end of the trail where it meets the fire trail junction. I think a possum must have ignored the No Smoking sign - it was a burnt-out shell last time I remember seeing it.
