Details:

SATURDAY LOOKS LIKE A SCORCHER AT 33, WHICH MEANS EVEN HOTTER ON GNR. PM ME IF INTERESTED IN DOING SUNDAY MORNING INSTEAD.

I haven't done a NoBMoB ride for an age, due to a demanding first year of Electrical Engineering, reinforced with self confessed laziness (not in terms of cycling, but in terms of getting on the computer and posting a ride!)

My last exam is going to be the preceding week, so I am looking forward for an opportunity to hit some serious riding following that, and hoping that there will be some willing wheels to join me for it.

The proposed route:

- Up via Devine's Hill (get the painful stuff out early)
- Along the famous GNR to Western Commission Junction
- Down to Clare's Bridge, and following north to where it becomes technical again.
- Head for any number of kms north (along reverse Convict route) if possible.
- Return via the way we came, until the top of Devine's Hill, where we will instead go down Sheppard's Gully and back via 7km along bitumen.

I'd like to, if possible, crank up 70km in the ride. I think it will be possible, but depending on the weather and input from others, we can shorten this if necessary.

I do want to move along at a rapid pace, not quite at race pace, but at a pace to give all of us serious training.

Hope you're keen, I know I am.

GNR needs to be avoided in hot weather as the sun just belts down there, but it is meant to be cooler on Sunday so let me know if you'd be interested in doing it then via PM.
