Planning an MTB road trip, early 2014. Looking for suggestions of where to go
I'm thinking of doing an MTB road trip from Sydney in early 2014, and trying to work out a list where to go and what trails to ride. I've probably got two full weeks to play with. I ride XC, AM, Trail type stuff and would consider doing longer rides, or overnighters too. I'm currently on my own, so would be happy to have a victim... er... fellow traveller or two. Thinking late january or thereabouts at the moment.
Some things on my wishlist would probably be;
Canberra (Stromlo, etc), Tathara, Port Macquarie, Taree, Something around the snowys, You Yangs... Yeah I know these are geographically difficult to connect

Head north up to about Port Macq. via Ourimbah,Awaba & Glenrock to Kiwarrack -go inland & head south via Mudgee & Dubbo trails-then Orange-head down to Canberra via Blue Mtn's & Southern Highland's(Welby & Wingello)-after A.C.T go to Snowy's past Cooma & Jindy then across to Tathra & then head north via Bermagui & Mogo & try Ulladulla & Nowra!-have I missed any???
That's quite a loop RobbieO. Fair bit of stuff there I haven't looked into.
I think there is still some trails I missed!
