what sort of pace, ability - would hate to slow down the ride.

I'll be looking to do 40 minute loops - or close to it.
However, with the amount of traffic likely on a sunny Sunday arvo, the pace may be a bit more relaxed.
Don't worry about slowing down the ride, just come out and have some fun.
I might do one lap pushing, and the rest are cruising. I'm still getting used to being clipped in, so there is even the chance of a few unexpected stops
