St Ives Shops
Near Max Brennars - Cnr Mona Vale Rd and Stanley st, St Ives
I want to do a decent training ride before the 12hr next weekend, so thought the 3 gorges would be good.
Ride up to Hornsby, through Galston Gorge, down to Berowra Waters and take the ferry and up the hill.
Down the the pacific hwy and through Bobbin Head, and back to St Ives.
The ride can be extended to take in the blast down to Brooklyn and/or Pie in the Sky and back if there's interest/time.
I think it's somewhere around 75km, with some decent hills in there, or 100 if we do Brooklyn.
It'll be a decent paced training ride - expect average speed to be around 28+ km/h.

Cross country will take place in the morning. we'll need help timing XC and setting up for the DH.
If you turn up at the DH area and we're running late and quick rake of the trail would be nice.
also if someone could pick up the cables from the XC area and get them run out while you are waiting it will make things easier.

Who is this course for?
This women-only course offers something for both new and experienced mountain bike riders as it provides the fundamentals of mountain bike riding - what we like to call the 'Toolkit'. Whether you are just getting into mountain biking, have ended up being the 'boyfriend's accessory on the trail and want to find your own independence, or are just sick of the sighing, eye-rolling shoulder shrug you receive when you ask how to ride something - this is the course for you.
