Ourimbah State Forest Meeting Point:
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.

I'm guessing part of the XC track is used for this and is a no go for the morning?
They tend to use different parts of the DH & XC track so depending on what time you ride, you could slot in where they are not using the track
Last time I ride at Ourimbah there was an Embryo race on. 70% of the track is still rideable, there's just a small diversion around the section they're using.

How gnarly is the GE run? Like, is big air a must? I'm testicularly restricted these days as to how much air I get. Put wings on it and I'm all over it.
The GE track is the top half of the DH track so it's not really DH (closer to AM).
No jumping required. All rollable. A 5" bike and medium skills will get you through the GE track.
