Just wanted to say thanks to the 3 gents that donated their tube to my brother and the use of their track pump.
We had literally 10 minutes before hand donated our stuff to another rider before succumbing to a similar fate of a torn sidewall.
Mtb karma lives on.
So if it happens to be someone on this forum, get in touch, and we'll kindly reimburse you (with a 6 pack as interest)

And a big thanks from me to you two on the Cannondales who'd donated BOTH your CO2 cylinders to trying to get me rolling again. Will PM for details so I can reimburse you.
And also to the 3 riders who also stopped and lent me a pump.
I had a long walk back to the car in the end, but not for want of good will and help from my fellow Mtbers.
