Pilgrimage means bridge is closed for cars - can i ride it?

I was thinking....
With the Pilgrimage to Randwick this Saturday the harbour bridge is shut to cars from 2am till 5pm.
Does anyone know if i can take advantage of this on the bike and ride the main bridge deck. It would be an awesome ride (perhaps take the little lady - i'll be in the good books for sure.)
Anyone else interested in joining us. (I feel a group ride in the works)

NOTE: I promise not to "bar" any pilgrims. I am a reformed MTBer (i have seen the error in my selfish speed-hungry ways)

Notes

The pedestrian walkway and cycleway will remain open during the closure to vehicular traffic.

What I'm talking about is the area where the cars go (main bridge deck)

It's closed to cars on Saturday - can i ride the bike across with the pilgrimaging pilgrims.

I'm sure the pilgrims wont mind - just tell them you are part of the "Critical Mass".
