I'm back and still alive. Survived 4 days of riding, 5 rides in 4 days, although there was one close call.
This will be pretty breif as I didn't keep a food diary the whole time, nor did I have the bike computer with me so I am a little sketchy on distances etc.
Suffice to say that diet wasn't perfect but generally wasn't too bad either. Very difficult in a share house with such a large group. Did try really hard to make sensible choices particularly for dinner although I was more concerned with keeping up fuel intake than anything else.
Weighed in Tuesday morning
100.5 kg
102cm waist.
Still progressing in the right direction so am pleased with that. Actually thought I might have put on weight this week given the amount of carbs and protien I consumed in an effort to go from an average of 1.5 rides a week to 5 in 4 days.
Back to the grindstone now, only a couple of short weeks before I go to Coffs. Need to work on thigh stamina, apart from general tiredness on the first day the only thing that really hurt on the rest of the rides were my thighs and I think some of this can be put down to heavy bruising I got a couple of weeks ago.
