Specialized Stumpjumper 29er – Superlight race bike
17.5" / Medium
Hi all,
I am selling my race bike as I don’t race anymore. It’s kitted out with all top end gear, with a whole NEW drivetrain. There is absolutely nothing to spend.
Here’s a list of all the NEW bits: Rotor chainrings, chain, cassette, bottom bracket, headset bearings, pedal bearings, brake pads, derailleur pulley wheels, tyres.
The bike weighs only 10.5kg as ridden.
SPEC:
Fork - Rockshox Reba Race (currently set as 80mm, but can be lengthened to 100mm)
Bar-Truvative Noir Carbon flat bar
Stem - Ritchey WCS
Seatpost - Specialized Carbon
Saddle – Selle Italia XC
Chainset - Rotor Agilis 2x9 (very special and rare piece of kit), with BRAND NEW Rotor rings
Front Mech - XTR
Rear Mech - Sram X9
Cassette: SRAM 11-42 (NEW)
Chain: XTR (NEW)
Shifters - Sram X0 Twist shifters
Brakes - Avid Elixir CR - 160 f&r (NEW PADS on f&r)
Cables - Full red Nokon cables - very cool, and maintenance free
Wheels - Mavic Crossmax 29er (set up as tubeless)
Tyres – Schwalbe Racing Ralph Evo (NEW)
Pedals – Crank Brothers 2ti eggbeaters
This is a great bike that has won a bunch of races, from XC to Marathon to Enduro. The frame and cranks have all the usual signs of use but are functionally perfect.
The crankset is very rare and probably hugely expensive to buy in Australia, the Rotor rings look funny, but feel great.
This frame also has dropouts that slide, so it can very easily be set-up as a single speed.
If you want a new race bike, want to try the 29er thing, or want to build a singlespeed and then have some spares in the garage - this is a bargain.
