After the sell out success of last years Kanangra Classic, we can announce that we will have an extra 300 spots up for grabs in this years event!
Spaces are filling fast, so if you missed out on a spot last year, now is the time to get your entry in.

For those who don't know about this event, the Kanangra Classic is a great weekend of outdoor recreation held in the beautiful Kanangra Boyd National Park. Located just 146km west of Penrith and approx 30 minutes from the Oberon township the Kanangra Boyd National Park is an iconic part of the greater Blue Mountains.

The event starts and finishes at Jensens Farm just a few hundred metres from Boyd River Camp Ground. In 2012 both Boyd River Camp ground as well as Jensens Farm will be available for camping throughout the Classic weekend. There are also plenty of great places to stay in the nearby township of Oberon or at Caves House at Jenolan Caves.

The weekend will consist of 4 events:

Sunday: Kanangra Classic – 100km Mountain Bike Enduro
Sunday: Kanangra Classic - 50km Mountain Bike Enduro
Saturday: Kanangra Burn – a Prologue Ride – 24km Mountain Bike Ride
Saturday: Kanangra Challenge – A 2 day dualthon for those who like pain! A 50km TRAIL ultramarathon on foot on Saturday PLUS a 50km MTB on Sunday. Want to run only? You can do that – just register for the ultramarathon.
