Was at the Taree Tip Trails last week finalising course for Brownie Points Burner 2012 and rode the new Convict Trail with Bruce and Dave from the club. Its a Rotorua style classic. We shall be riding that trail and a bunch of other local trails in 2 days of MTB escape Sept 22.
Check the calendar entry or go straight to the source at www.veloevents.com.au

Its not actually a timed event - more about riding new trails with your mates and drinking beer and the trails will have you deserving one. It might not be a "race" but the hills near Taree are worthy of any 100ker, we just wanted to keep it fun. Event is hosted at Clarendon Farm Retreat which backs onto the Kiwarrack State forest so while camping is provided (as well as dinner / breakfast and lunch) there are other accomodation options for those too soft for camping (or wanting to take the family). www.cfr.com.au

Distances of 50 or 70km per day (total of between 50 to 140 for weekend) and NO LOOPS ! (except for possible laps of the seasaw).

Hope to see you there,

Hugh
